Volledig geautomatiseerd bestelproces:

Als de toner en inktcartridges in de aangesloten printers op beginnen te raken, wordt automatisch een bestelopdracht aangemaakt en naar ALSO gestuurd. De bestelling wordt dan rechtstreeks naar jouw klant gestuurd (dropshipping), zodat je geen voorraden hoeft aan te houden. Nadat je de verzendbevestiging hebt ontvangen, hoef je alleen maar de factuur naar jouw klant te sturen. Je brengt de kosten in rekening van de geleverde printerartikelen, de verzendkosten en een service fee voor het gebruik van de automatische verzendservice.

Wat kost de SmartSupplies service?
Het gebruik van SmartSupplies is gratis. Alleen als voor een printer automatisch bestellen is ingeschakeld, betaal je een kleine service fee voor elke cartridge die aan jouw klant wordt geleverd. Dit komt bovenop de standaard aankoopprijs van de cartridge en de standaard verzendkosten. Deze service fee is een aanzienlijke kostenbesparing ten opzichte van het handmatig bestellen van cartridges in de ALSO webshop en het moeten bijhouden van de productenportfolio van jouw webshop. De voordelen voor jouw klanten zijn dat ze cartridges ontvangen voordat de oude leeg zijn en dat ze het juiste productnummer en de locatie van de printer niet hoeven te kennen.

Hoeveel printers en printermerken worden door het SmartSupplies-programma ondersteund?
De datacollector herkent minstens 20.000 verschillende printers van alle bekende merken en de artikelen die elke printer nodig heeft. Toch kan het voorkomen dat ALSO sommige artikelen niet voert. Nadat je de collector hebt geïnstalleerd en ingelogd bent op de SmartSupplies portal, zie je op de "printer overview"-pagina in de kolom "Status", in welke mate elk apparaat wordt ondersteund. Er zijn drie statussen:
  • Supported - voor alle lopende artikelen wordt het automatisch bestellen ondersteund.
  • Partial supported - voor sommige lopende artikelen wordt het automatisch bestellen niet ondersteund. Neem contact op met jouw leverancier als je deze status ziet.
  • Not supported - De printer staat het automatisch bestellen van artikelen niet toe.

Kan via SmartSupplies ook papier besteld worden?
Het automatisch bestellen van papier zit niet in de service.

Is er marketinginformatie beschikbaar die ik kan gebruiken om de SmartSupplies service aan mijn klanten uit te leggen?
Nadat ALSO je heeft ingeschreven voor het SmartSupplies-programma ontvang je een e-mail met marketingmateriaal dat je kunt gebruiken voor jouw klanten. Je kunt ze ook direct verwijzen naar www.weprintsmarter.com waar ze gedetailleerde informatie over SmartSupplies kunnen vinden.

Wat gebeurt er nadat ik het registratieformulier op deze website heb ingevuld?
Je ontvangt een e-mail van ALSO met het verzoek om jouw registratie af te ronden via een weblink naar de SmartSupplies portal. Na afronding van jouw registratie ontvang je nog een e-mail, waarin jouw inloggegevens worden bevestigd. Je kunt de datacollector ook opvragen, zodat je deze voor jouw eigen printernetwerk kunt gebruiken en de SmartSupplies service aan jouw klanten kunt demonstreren.

Ik heb na afronding van mijn registratie de e-mail met de SmartSupplies datacollector niet ontvangen.
Controleer de e-mail-instellingen van jouw firewall. De e-mails kunnen geblokkeerd zijn en in de quarantainemap zijn geplaatst. Als ze daar niet in staan, vraag jouw accountmanager bij ALSO dan om de e-mails opnieuw te verzenden.

Waar kan ik informatie vinden over het aanmelden van nieuwe klanten voor het automatisch nabestellen van artikelen?
Het registratieproces voor nieuwe klanten na het inloggen op de portal is heel eenvoudig. Toch zal ALSO je per e-mail instructies sturen nadat je jevoor het programma hebt aangemeld.

Ik heb de datacollector aangevraagd voor mijn eigen printernetwerk. Heb ik de hulp van mijn ICT-afdeling nodig om de datacollector te installeren?
Het installeren van de SmartSupplies datacollector is heel eenvoudig. Wel kan het zijn dat lokale instellingen van de firewall de hele installatie blokkeren. De e-mail met de datacollector-link bevat ook gedetailleerde informatie over en specificaties van de collector en hoe deze met succes geïnstalleerd kan worden.

Waar kan ik gedetailleerde informatie vinden over elke printer die de service gebruikt?
Als je op de SmartSupplies portal inlogt, zie je een overzicht van alle printers in jouw netwerk. Voor elke printer zie je een icoontje met een "i" erop. Als je de muisaanwijzer boven dit icoontje houdt, zie je het IP-adres, de hostnaam en het serienummer van elke printer.

Hoe weet ik of een nieuwe cartridge besteld is voor mijn klant?
Telkens wanneer ALSO een automatische bestelopdracht voor printerartikelen ontvangt, krijg je een orderbevestiging van ons. Ook zal de status van de order weergegeven worden in de "customer view" in de SmartSupplies portal, achter de cartridge in de "detailed view" van de printer

Hoe werkt het factureringsproces?
Nadat de SmartSupplies portal automatisch een cartridge heeft besteld en die verzonden is, ontvangt je een factuur van ALSO voor de bestelde cartridge, de verzendkosten en de kleine service fee voor het automatisch bestellen via SmartSupplies.

Kan ik voor elke printer nagaan wat de actuele inktniveaus zijn?
Ja. Log in op de SmartSupplies portal, selecteer een van jouw klanten en kies dan de printer die je wilt bekijken. In de "detailed view" zie je alle bijbehorende printerartikelen en het percentage vol/leeg.

Gegevensverzameling, privacy en beveiliging

Hoe worden de gegevens van mijn printers of die van mijn klanten gebruikt?
De gegevens die de SmartSupplies Manager verzamelt zijn eigendom van de accounthouder (eindgebruiker). Er wordt geen informatie verzameld over het printgedrag van gebruikers of de inhoud van prints. De gegevens worden alleen anoniem gebruikt voor statistische doeleinden.

Hoe worden de gegevens van mijn printers, of die van mijn klanten, verzameld?
Na het afronden van de registratie ontvang jij en/of jouw klant een e-mail met een link naar een download. Dit gecomprimeerde zipbestand bevat de installatiebestanden voor de SmartSupplies-datacollector. Tijdens de installatie helpt een wizard je in een paar simpele stappen bij het installeren van de datacollector op het printernetwerk.

Hoe vaak worden de gegevens van mijn printers of die van mijn klanten verzameld?
De SmartSupplies-datacollector verzamelt elke 3 uur gegevens van de aangesloten printers. De datacollector zoekt elke 5 uur naar nieuwe printers.

Waar worden de printer- en klantgegevens opgeslagen?
De servers van SmartSupplies worden gehost op Microsoft Azure. Het datacenter staat in Amsterdam met een back-uplocatie in Dublin. Microsoft Azure staat bekend om het hoge beveiligingsniveau en heeft meerdere lagen van netwerkbeveiliging.

Ik heb de datacollector geïnstalleerd, maar het duurt erg lang voordat hij printers vindt.
Als de datacollector in een groot netwerk naar printers moet zoeken, kan dat even duren. Je kunt dit proces versnellen door in de datacollector specifieke IP-adressen (van het printernetwerk) op te geven. Dit kan je doen door in de datacollector via het hoofdmenu naar Tools -> IP-reeksen te gaan en op de knop “Importeren” te klikken. Hier kan je een hele netwerkreeks invoeren, een deel van een netwerkreeks, of een enkel IP-adres. Onderaan het scherm zie je voorbeelden van invoerformaten. Voer de IP-reeks in en klik op “Toevoegen”.
